So you’ve found my website? Very cool, good choice, there are plenty of options out there- lots of top quality sites to choose from. But, alas, you’re here and I’m happy you made it.
Simply put, I’m a storyteller at heart. I’ve been reading and writing my entire existence and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon lest my mother will beat me with a wooden spoon. I’ve found that this desire lends itself well to the world of marketing and, specifically, eCommerce. I’ve been able to turn a passion into a career and it feels pretty good. Along the way I’ve dabbled in stand-up comedy, fiction writing and screenwriting. Nothing’s stuck yet but I remain hopeful, I’m sure it’s because the world just doesn’t “get” me yet. Or something like that. I’m a voracious reader, in both fiction and non-fiction, so if you just want to email me about books feel free. I’m sure I’ll throw the odd book review post in here from time to time.
I hope this website serves as both a resume and a launchpad for my thoughts (boy do I have thoughts) and ideas (and ideas!) concerning the eCommerce industry. I also hope it servers as a way for people to ask me meaningful questions and to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs and business owners. So much of marketing now is about selling a lifestyle so I want to make sure I’m accurately reflecting mine in my digital thumb print. These days, your digital identity is nigh inseparable from your physical one and needs to be tended to like an ego-fertilized garden of ones and zeros. It’s not hard to get things to grow with all the rain we get in St. Petersburg.
I hope to offer meaningful advice based off the struggles I encountered in my first eCommerce venture and the experiences that helped it excel. In my current career, I keep close tabs on industry trends so I’m sure I’ll be chiming in on those as well. I also hope to express how the world of eCommerce has shaped me into the person I am through slightly more personal blogs and videos.
I know I prefer to do business with people I like and genuinely want to help, so I’m sure you feel the same way. Let’s do some eCommerce together.
